how my skin is at the best it's ever been

Everyone kind of goes through their own issues with their skin, hence the whole "skincare is a super personal thing" saying. The following is what's worked the best for me to give me smooth AF and hydrated skin. I'm not sure I've ever had a truly "holy grail" product but I think I've got mine now.

I'm going to get started with what I believe to be a holy grail product for me from now on. It's the Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid. Now I've started using this every single night and it's completely gotten rid of the need for me to ever use another exfoliant, mask or otherwise. That's ironically one thing I have against this. I'm thinking of stepping on the breaks with it and give some of my other exfoliants some love, but I truly believe this is what's gotten my skin smooth as a baby's butt, and has given my skin a continues glow and improved tone. Jury's out on if it improves redness, but I'll say it has improved enough for me to faintly notice.

Next in line is belif's moisturizing bomb. I touched on this a bit in my last post but this is a moisturizer I use pretty much year round. It gives me a punch of hydration that seems to last me all day whether it's February or August. The added moisture gives a plump effect on my skin.

Now this one is just supposed to cover the whole field of vitamin C serums. This one from Ole Henriksen does the job fine. This is actually a second purchase for me which is a surprise, mostly because decent priced vitamin C serums are hard to come by. For 48 bucks it does its job great. I think I'll try a different on next time, maybe one from Kiehls or something, we'll see. But I don't think I could have a skincare routine with a vit. C serum in it; the effect my skin gets from it is par to none.

And now for many people's holy grail skin item is this Kiehl's Midnight Recovery concentrate. I struggle with how to fit this into my routine. I actually am using this after my moisturizing serum and before cream which is against like, all skincare "rules". I didn't like when I put it on last, and considering I like using a squalane oil last, that wouldn't mesh well.
I do really like this, but I think I'll try another recovery oil next time, I think Estee Lauder has a well renowned one. The idea is to have a similar product.

Knock on wood here, but I haven't had a breakout in months and the texture I've had on my jaw in years past as subsided, which I think the Paula's Choice BHA is mostly to thank here, but these other products really hold their own as well.
