My Latest Everyday Skincare Night Routine

  • This routine has really been working for me lately. My dry skin really soaks all of these products up.
  • Some products in here are a few uses away from being empty. I have my eye on some new products I'm thinking of bringing into my routine even though I really do like these products.
  •  This is my ride or die cleanser. It's affordable ($20 for this bottle), and is not drying what so ever. This is my second bottle and I don't really have an interest in changing this up; it's brought me from the summer months into winter & I love it just the same.
  • This is a product I'm coming up to emptying, and one I don't really see myself repurchasing. I got it while Dermstore was having a sale that involved Dermalogica so I got a pretty good price on this. I'm sure it works better when used with the brand's accompanying ultraCalming line, but on it's own it didn't really calm my redness. I would really like to eventually look into the other products because I do think Dermalogica puts out effective items.
  •  I really really have loved using this product. I started out by using it morning and night but was shocked at how fast I was using this up, so I knocked it down to only my night routine. If I could afford to use this both morning and night, I would continue to do so. It wasn't too hydrating where it would make my face oily, and really soaked into my skin quickly, but effectively.
  • I haven't decided if I'll repurchase this or not, I do love this, but I also love looking at new products so we'll see.
  • I purchased this frivolously, mostly to hit the discount limit during a sephora sale. I heard people liked this, and knew I needed a toner-like product soon so I put it in my cart.
  • It isn't groundbreaking and it makes me want to try putting Evian water in a spray bottle to see what's different tbh.
  • I just spray it on after my Caudalie serum and brush my teeth while it dries down.
  • I'll use a quarter- to half a dropper full of Kiehl's concentrate oil. I'll use this if I didn't use an acid or exfoliant that night. I don't know why, I just don't use them together.
  • It takes a handful of minutes until I can put my moisturizer on. I've toyed with where to put this in my routine. I used to use it at the very end, but didn't like how my face felt in the morning. I put it on as the first product in my routine, but hated how it felt on dry skin. So now it settles in the middle of everything.
  • And for one of my top 3 moisturizers I've used; Ole Henrickson's Nurture Me. The ONLY downside to this is the fragrant smell; it's fruity/sweet and I don't really care for fragrant skincare.
  • Regardless, I really like this cream. The first jar I bought I absolutely fell in love with. It cleared up some texture I had on my jawline, and kept my face moisturized until I woke up the next morning.
  • I still love this moisturizer and this current jar has been lasting me a long while.
  • Before I go to bed, I spray a few spritzes of Clinique's moisture surge spray.
  • I went to Sephora to buy a bottle of this and they said they'd been out of stock for weeks, which had me put back a bit.
  • I usually have big doubts about clinique being an effective skincare line; but this product really does shoot moisture right into my skin and I love it. I've moved it around a bit in my routine and it really fits anywhere.

--> One of my favorite parts about skincare is looking at, finding, researching new products and their ingredients. This is singularly just a hobby for me right now and I just enjoy looking at the load of skincare companies and the depth of products each one has.
I do work with a strict budget, as like I said above, it's strictly a hobby, but I still like to experiment with new brands and new products so it isn't very common for me to repurchase products.
